This is more than a sound healing training…it is an introduction to the art of creating transformational spaces through vibration, presence, and intentional sound.


Over two immersive days, students are guided into the foundational principles of therapeutic sound work through the lens of the SVMT Method of Transformation… a lineage-based approach that bridges science, mindfulness, somatics, and ancient sound practices into a modern healing framework.


This training was designed for those who feel called to work with sound not simply as performance… but as a pathway into regulation, restoration, resonance, and human connection.


Here, sound is approached with intention. Presence matters as much as technique. And the practitioner is understood to be part of the medicine itself.


Students learn how to create deeply supportive group sound experiences rooted in nervous system awareness, energetic integrity, and embodied presence.

The Practitioner of Sound Therapies Certification is grounded in a trauma-aware, mindfulness-based, and trance-informed approach to sound facilitation.


Rather than simply learning instruments, students are guided into understanding:

The Science of Sound & Resonance

Explore how sound and vibration influence the nervous system, brainwave states, emotional regulation, relaxation responses, and states of consciousness.


Mindfulness & Presence

Learn how attunement, pacing, breath, awareness, and co-regulation shape the therapeutic field of a sound experience.


Somatic Awareness

Develop the ability to track sensation, energy, emotional response, and nervous system shifts within group settings.



Trance-Informed Facilitation

Understand how sound naturally influences altered and restorative states… and how to hold those experiences ethically and safely.


The Art of Holding Space

Learn how to create environments that feel grounded, welcoming, regulated, and transformational for participants.


This training is not about performing for people. It is about learning how to guide people into deeper relationship with themselves.

Instruments & Practices Explored

During this immersive 2-day training, students are introduced to a variety of sound healing instruments and approaches used in therapeutic group settings, including:

 

  • Crystal Singing Bowls

  • Himalayan Singing Bowls

  • Gongs

  • Drums & Rhythm Practices

  • Chimes & Percussive Instruments

  • Voice, Breath & Tonal Practices

  • Sound Meditation & Sound Journeys

  • Foundations of Sound Nidra & Rest-Based Experiences


Students participate in both experiential practice and hands-on facilitation exercises throughout the training, allowing them to both receive and offer sound experiences in a supported environment.

Included in the Training Experience

All Practitioner of Sound Therapies Certifications include:
 

  • A required 10-hour online pre-course designed to prepare students before arriving in person

  • A live Zoom orientation and meetup session prior to training

  • Access to the immersive 2-day in-person certification training

  • Entry into the SVMT online training portal, featuring hundreds of videos, protocols, educational lessons, and continuing education resources

  • Membership in a global online community of 2,500+ practitioners and students

  • Ongoing mentorship, support, and access to future educational opportunities within the SVMT Method

Payment Plan: $300 deposit & 4 monthly payments of $131.70 on the 15th of each month following the month of registration (includes 4% finance fee).
